Our property contains our landmarked 1885 Victorian home and three stand-alone 1920's cottages. This listing is for a private TWO BEDROOM INLAW in the back of the main house. The ground-level apartment has a private entrance, a fully stocked kitchen and living area, two bedrooms (each with a queen-sized bed), and a bathroom. The apartment is private for your use, but there are other residents that use the shared space on the property, including the garden and laundry room. This is a downstairs unit and you will occasionally hear footsteps from above. The upstairs neighbors are wonderful and very respectful. The rate includes all utilities (gas, electric, water, garbage, wireless internet) and full furnishings (all furniture, sheets, towels, pots, pans, etc.) All units have access to (coin-operated) laundry and shared outdoor space on the property. A car is not necessary as we are in walking distance to (shopping, UC Berkeley, farmer's market, BART). There is no private dedicated parking. Parking is street parking - folks who do want a car usually park ~3 blocks away, where there are no permits required.
