Small home just steps from ocean views and beaches. Friendly neighborhood with access to hiking, biking, surfing, kayaking, and mountain biking. Cool and sometimes foggy in summer. The home was remodeled 15 years ago to create an open floor plan, raise the ceiling, and add skylights. The bathrooms and kitchen feature Italian tile. Available appliances include a gas stove and oven, toaster oven with air fryer features, coffee maker, coffee grinder, and instant pot. Decor is simple and features primarily furnishing purchased with previously owned furniture. Floors are Pergo, except for the lovely tile floors in the bathrooms. Corner location. Neighborhood attracts tourists and park goers on weekends with good weather and low tides. Currently the bridge to the trail is closed due to damage from a tree fall. Other trails are nearby. You can walk to the Montara lighthouse, or take a short drive to Montara State Beach, or to the Princeton Harbor and beaches. Highway One is the primary access to Moss Beach. On holidays, weekends, and in good weather the traffic can be thick. It flows more earlier in the day, or after sunset. With two installed power wall batteries the home is unaffected by power failures and brown outs. Cell service can be irregular in Moss Beach due to its geographical location. We use Verizon and set it to WiFi calling. Barbara has a background in the visual arts and is now volunteering on the board of the local resource conservation district. John is a mechanical engineer with expertise in tools for biomedical research. Both are long-time ocean kayakers.
