Bright 1-bedroom apartment in a large Brooklyn Heights brownstone on a calm block. SHORT STAYS: 10-15 DAYS ONLY. About the space: -Fully furnished -Tall ceilings -Massive south-facing windows -Bathroom with shower stall (no bath) -Kitchenette with fridge, oven, and stovetop -Bedroom with queen-sized bed (photos are old and show scaffolding, but there is no longer scaffolding) -Old-fashioned moldings and ornamental fireplace -Unit is on the fourth floor, and there is an elevator in the building. -There is a very comfortable Jensen-Lewis sleeper sofa bed. The neighbors are quiet, and I ask that renters also be quiet (no loud music, workouts with jumping, etc.) About the neighborhood -Two blocks from the Borough Hall subway stop with trains that go up the east and west sides of Manhattan. You are right by the edge of Brooklyn looking toward Manhattan. This neighborhood is wonderful: Quiet, historical, and incredibly convenient. There's a fantastic bookstore around the corner. -Two blocks from the Brooklyn Heights promenade with gorgeous views of the Manhattan skyline. -Around the corner from grocery stores, shops, restaurants on Montague Street -Also close to Dumbo, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Downtown Brooklyn, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill and lots of other amenities. ABOUT THIS LISTER Late-30s, longtime Brooklynite, happy to answer questions about the city and neighborhood.
