Looking for respectful guests who will enjoy our home and the amazing Dufferin Grove neighborhood. We are located directly across from Dufferin Grove Park which is one of the best parks in Toronto. In the winter we cross-country ski in the park and skate on the refrigerated outdoor rink and the kids toboggan on the small hill. When the weather warms the park has a wading pool for kids, a playground, an adventure area with sand and shovels, a soccer field, a basketball court and a weekly farmer's market. Dufferin mall is a block away and has an array of stores as well as 2 grocery stores. We are also within walking distance of several amazing restaurant areas; Dundas West, Bloor West, College St, Ossington St all have a wonderful mix of delicious options. It is very easy to get downtown to work, study, or take advantage of all that Toronto has to offer. There is a bike share at the end of our street and many stations throughout the city which makes it really easy to get around by bike without needing to maintain a bike. There is a great East-West bike lane on Bloor street as well as on Harbord street and College so no shortage of options to bike downtown. If you want to use public transport there is a streetcar on college and a subway that runs on Bloor, both easy walking distance from our house. The Bloor/Gladstone library is a few blocks away and is great for adults and kids and the Mary McCormick Community Centre is also walking distance with a wonderful warm indoor pool, gym, and lots of activities for people of all ages. There is also a very good YMCA located walking distance at College/Dovercourt which has something for everyone including a hot tub and sauna. Lake Ontario is south of us and we like to go down there especially in the summer to swim in the Olympic size Sunnyside Gus Rider outdoor pool and take advantage of the beach and playgrounds that are right on the lake. We feel very lucky to live in such a great urban space. Our house would be suitable for a family or professionals.
