The apartment, fully restored, is situated on Rio di Noale, the second largest canal in Venice after the Grand Canal, in the authentic Sestiere (area) of Cannaregio. One enters through a tranquil courtyard and ascends 2 flights of spacious stairs to the second storey apartment which, because of its position overlooking both the courtyard and the canals, is blessed with luminosity, sunshine and sea breezes. The entrance hall and large guest room / study are situated in a 16th century palazzo. One then descends 3 steps to traverse 3 centuries to a 19th century palazzo where are to be found the master bedroom, bathroom, spacious lounge/dining room, and ultra modern kitchen. Each of the rooms overlooks the large canal of Rio di Noale and also looks down a delightful canal opposite, so water views are guaranteed. A small balcony framed by climbing jasmine offers a sunny outdoor position from the lounge/ dining room. One is only a 5 minute stroll from the vaporetto (public boat) stop of Ca' d'Oro on the Grand Canal. The nearby Rialto Market is reached by the traditional venetian means of crossing the Grand Canal in a traghetto (public gondola, cost 2 Euro). The local supermarket is open 7 days a week. A Concierge Service is available to advise on getting around Venice, book Theatre tickets and other activities. Private tours of the city and it's monuments may be arranged. It is possible to book Italian Cooking Classes held in a 16th century palace on the Grand Canal The rental covers all services and charges,incl.weekly cleaning.
