DELIGHTFUL, FURNISHED 2 BEDROOM CONDO FOR SHORT-TERM RENT IN EMERYVILLE Our short-term rental is ideal for a family of four or a couple on sabbatical, or in need of a temporary housing. The condo is fully furnished and conveniently located in the city of Emeryville. The condo has three floors: On the ground floor is a laundry room with a washer/dryer, a coat closet, and a one-car garage. On the mezzanine, there is a full kitchen. The adjacent dining room opens out into a cozy balcony. On the third floor is a large bedroom, spacious closets and a full-bath. There is also an open area that serves as a second bedroom and an inviting sitting nook. Bed linens and towels are included. A number of families with children on sabbatical have enjoyed living in this house in the past years and we have too. We look for tenants who will love and care for this place as much as we do! The condo was built in 2000 and has well-insulated walls and double-pane windows assuring peace and quiet. In addition to the one-car garage, there is also a first come, first serve parking inside the on-site facility. UC Berkeley is about a 20-minute bike ride away. Lawrence Lab has a free shuttle that stops near the house. Just across the street: Emeryville public schools and community center with swimming pool.. Pixar, Grifols, off-site Lawrence Lab are in the neighborhood. Playgrounds and parks are in near vicinity. Oakland Golden Gate Branch Public Library is a few steps away. Emeryville is centrally-located and extremely accessible, resting at the east landing of the Bay Bridge and bounded by Interstate freeways 80, 880, and 580. Amtrak Station is a 10 minute walk away and provides commuter service within California and cross-country. Easy access to San Francisco: • just a 20-minute stunning drive across the Bay-Bridge to downtown SF or • a ferry-ride away from Jack London Square ferry terminal in Oakland, or • 20 minutes by BART train from MacArthur BART station (which is a 20-minute leisurely walk away from the condo. The free, local Emery-Go-Round shuttle has a stop near the condo and can also take you directly to the MacArthur BART station. Nature visits within an hour-drive or less: • UC Berkeley Botanical Garden • Tilden Park • The Redwoods • Oakland Observatory • Lafayette Reservoir • Tennessee Valley • Mount Tamalpais • Stinton Beach etc etc…. Shopping etc: • Arizmendi Pizza and CVS Pharmacy are both down the street. • Berkeley Bowl West (a supermarket mecca) and is a pleasant walk/ bike ride away. • 15-minutes stroll away: Home Depot, Target, Best Buy, Michael’s, Decathlon • Ikea, Emery Bay Shopping Center, Trader Joe’s, Public Market, movie theater, post office, cafes are close by. Cleaning service 2x/month included Maximum 4-person occupancy 2-3 references required, proof of employment/ academic contract, and security deposit required to secure reservation. Refund of security deposit is based on the condition and cleanliness of the house upon inspection after departure, Contract will be provided and signatures required upon approval. Payments are to be paid monthly as outlined in the contract (which includes first and last).
