All-inclusive, Beautiful Downtown Montreal Condo Close to Everything

I could not speak highly enough of Kathy as a host and her little apartment as a place to stay in Montreal. Kathy's hospitality and orienting us to Montreal made all the difference when we first arrived. The place itself is not large and contains 1 bedroom, open plan kitchen/dining/living room, a decent sized bathroom, and a walk through closet, plus storage space in the basement. The size is the only downside I can think of, and even then the space is plenty big enough for a few weeks of comfortable stay. Everything is included - so you can just unpack your bags and hit the ground running with your actual sabbatical. The building has a gym, rooftop pool, and multiple terraces, plus a neat business center type room in the penthouse, where you can work and enjoy some amazing views of the Mount Royal and the city. Lots of shops around, including 3-4 supermakets, farmers market about a mile out, high end shops of Westmount and discount shops at Alexis Nihon center. Super convenient location to all public transit - metro/subway station is 3 minutes away, and buses to most directions are within 10 minutes walk at most. This is a great location to Concordia University in particular, with McGill and University of Montreal being 25-30 minutes away door to door (walking and public transit included). You will not need a car living here but you can still use car share services if you are keen to drive anyway. Alternatively, covered parking spots are repeatedly advertised in the same building for $100-200 a month. Most importantly, Kathy is an amazing host. Without any doubt, Kathy went above and beyond the call of duty for me and my wife. We are deeply grateful to her for all the support and help provided. Hoping to keep in touch, and happy to return the favor if Kathy ever visits New Zealand again
