Our apartment in Central Rome is located near the Vatican (on the North side). The apartment is near the metro station Ottaviano (A Line) and several bus stops. The apartment is located in a well maintained large 1930 mansion block with high ceilings, two lifts. It is on the 3d floor (US 4th), with all the windows looking into the courtyard (hence it is quiet, though the location is very central and bustling with activity). There are two large bedrooms, a very large living room, a separate fitted kitchen fully equipped with all the appliances (dishwasher, extractor fan, fridge and freezer), two bathrooms and a laundry/utility cupboard. Wooden floor in all the rooms except the bathrooms which present a very contemporary resin floor. The thorough refurbishment was completed at the end of October 2012. The flat has everything you may need away from home, from pots & pans to bedsheets, towels, dishes, TV, wireless broadband and central heating. The location is very convenient, very close to the city centre and easy access to public transport. In addition to the transportation links, there are many grocery stores in the nearby and the famous outdoor market Trionfale is only five minutes away; numerous restaurants, bars, clubs are in the nearby. The Lumsa University, Università La Sapienza, St. John's University, Loyola University, Pontificia Università Urbaniana, Temple University, John Cabot University are all near. The park of Monte Mario and Villa Borghese are also near as well as the Biblioteca Nazionale, the Biblioteca Vaticana, Biblioteca Hertziana and the list can be continued.
