Set amongst olive groves near Monteleone d'Orvieto (Umbria / IT), the house, which is also an artist's studio, complete with piano, an antique architect's desk for sketching and an open fire, is a semi-detached renovated barn which is situated in an old village, an hour and a half from Rome and Florence. It is an ideal base to explore Umbria (Assisi, Orvieto, Perugia, Todi) and Tuscany (Siena, Florence). San Casciano dei Bagni, a renowned centre of thermal springs is a 20 minute car ride away. The local swimming pool is a 10 minute journey (by car). Further activities, which can be arranged, include horse-riding, cookery classes, wine tasting and yoga. Adjacent to the house is an olive grove (one acre) which is harvested once a year and produces delicious olive oil which may be purchased at a discount rate. Further photographs available on request.
