Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States
[Note: this apartment is no longer furnished, so if you’re looking for a short-term furnished place, this is not it!] A light-filled, semi-open-plan two-room studio (with separate small bedroom and bathroom) on the third floor of a Victorian building between Harvard and Porter Square. White walls, hardwood floors, charming vintage details. Shared access to backyard patio, a couple minutes walk down the street to the lovely Radcliffe quadrangle (great for picnics). Historic, quiet, leafy residential neighborhood, along with all necessary shops, cafes and restaurants within short walking distance. Half a minute's walk to major bus lines, ten minute walk to Red Line subway stops. Easy on-street parking, washer/dryer in the basement. Two tenants lived here in the past, though I think it probably works best for a single person. I've rented here happily for 6 years but have now bought a place myself and am looking for someone to take over my lease. I'm listing the apartment as available from April 1 (which it is!) till September, but ideally my landlord would like someone who can rent it for the longer term too. It’d be easiest for you to contact the broker via the Zillow listing here, https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/16-Shepard-St-5-Cambridge-MA-02138/56434833_zpid/?fbclid=IwAR1EkOsoxd1yY27nKFSb5gMNbIBRSywChn2Wzbtvby2f_IbvEAlAA7tcwjc since I’m the only one maintaining the sabbatical homes ad. They should get back to you soon, perhaps to arrange a video tour if you want one. I’m happy to answer any questions about what it’s like to live there! Best, Helena (Last updated April 29, 2021)
