Liverpool, England, United Kingdom
More photos at http://benhackbarth.com/scousehouse/photos Our home is available to let during academic holidays (we are not interested in exchanges). Recently renovated by an architect, full of books and a mixture of mid-century modern and vintage furnishings, and boasting a wood-burning stove, hardwood floors, and original Victorian details, it's a bright, cozy place to spend time in Liverpool. We live a ten-minute walk from the restaurants, shops, and bars of Lark Lane (where there is a farmer's market once a month and a weekly vintage market), across the street from gorgeous leafy Sefton Park, and a quick 20 minute bus ride to the Tate, Albert Dock, Liverpool One, and Bold Street. We're a young academic couple with a baby, so there is a master bedroom, a guest room with a double bed that serves as a study, and a baby room. There's also a back garden with a table, chairs, and a grill.
