Kerikeri, Northland, New Zealand
Architecturally designed by a family friend Russell Withers this timber home is nestled in the New Zealand bush, looking over the Puketotara river. A large open plan living space with Rimu floors opens out to a deck that wraps around 3 sides. A central wood burning fireplace is designed to heat the bedrooms on mezzanine above. The house is fully-furnished, has a modern kitchen and bathroom and is filled with books, art and New Zealand pottery. Built in 1988 it has been our family home for 30 years and we are looking for someone who shares a love of nature, architecture and will love it as much as us.
