Madison, Wisconsin, United States
This sweet, light-filled two-bedroom, two-bath bungalow is peaceful and quiet. The upstairs bedroom suite is a haven with a gas fireplace, full bath and walk-in closet, front sun room and back patio and porch for relaxing evenings. The house was built in 1926 and there are many vintage details, wood floors, and lots of light. The kitchen is simple with stove, microwave, toaster, no dishwasher. The TV can be connected with an HDMI cable, a stereo through 1/8" cable, free and fast wifi throughout. The yard is petite but well-landscaped, with comfy patio rockers and a gas grill if you are in the mood to bbq. Two AC window units downstairs and a dedicated wall unit upstairs. During the pandemic, I set up the side room as an office, but can configure for your needs. The Regent neighborhood is quiet and leafy, with proximity to UW Hospital, UW-Madison and Capital Square. The house is located right off the bicycle "boulevard" Kendall Street with paths nearby. The house is a few blocks from several bus lines with frequent service. Many nice walks in the neighborhood (Hoyt Park, Arboretum, Lakeshore Preserve). Renter pays all utilities.
