Bright and fully furnished studio with its own bathroom, kitchenette (portable induction cook-top), decks, and gym equipment, located on the top floor of our 5-story townhouse in Central Harlem. The studio is part of our triplex apartment, but totally independent. (New York' new law requires that the owner is present during the entire stay of your visitors which makes us be legal). You will be totally on your own on this last floor with a little view of the Empire state Building from the deck. Perfect place to spend a few days and up to 2 months. Very conveniently located near many subway lines the "135th Street" as the 2, 3, B and C lines, the M2 bus line in down the building, the corner of 133th St/ACP has a Citibike Station. You will be able get anywhere on Manhattan very easily. Walking distance to Columbia University (15-20min) and CUNY (10 min). Bars, restaurants, delis, stores and supermarket around the corner. There is a coffee shop down the building. It will quickly become your favorite spot for a good cappuccino. What you need to know about the studio: • The studio is inside our home but totally interdependent, on the top floor, with direct access with an elevator. (occasionally the elevator can be out of service so you need to know that you will cross our apartment if this happens. All good we are cool :). Note that New York city has pass a new law that forbid the rent of an apartment for less than 30 days, unless the owner is present during the stay. It is very unusual in NY to have such a setting that will makes you be in your own apartment while still being in my apartment on a floor we don't use. • Fully furnished studio with a full size bed, bedside tables, lamps, armchairs, sofa • Kitchenette with a Nespresso machine, kettle, portable induction cooktop, microwave, fridge • 1 dining table and 4 chairs • 1 hair dryer • 1 large TV screen (Netflix, Apple pay, NO CABLE). • Bathroom with shower and toilet • 2 Decks • Gym equipment • Hardwood floors What you need to know about the neighborhood • Near 5 subway lines (2/3/A/B/C/D), 2 and 3 trains are 3 minutes away. • M2 bus down the building, and plenty other next avenues. • A CityBike station one block away. • Several landmarks nearby (Strivers Row, Abyssinian Baptist Church..), and plenty church to visit for a Gospel worship. • Nearby restaurants and Bars include: Musette, Shrine, Ponty Bistro, Yatenga, Renaissance, Proof coffee shop, Reverence, Harlem Hops, Bill's Place, American Legion. Rates: $1300/week up to 2 guests from January 8 to April 8. $1400/week up to 2 guests from April 8 to January 8. $185/night up to 2 guests for any additional night after 7 nights. $3000/month (from 1-3 month booking). ------------ capacity: The "new" (Jan 2023) New York Law does not allow owners to rent an entire apartment for less that a month, unless the owner is present in the building. Max guests allowed is 2 persons. For stays over than 30 days, there are no restrictions. ------------ Deposit amount depend on the length of the stay. One month deposit for stays of one month and up. One week deposit for stays from one week to a month.
