Birmingham Gardens, NSW, Australia
This house is called Flora Ingal, a one-family home from the 1950s (when built) through until 2018 when renovated and sold. The house has a lovely, comforting feeling, being simple and solid with beautiful Art Deco ceiling mouldings and high ceilings. There is a nice clean kitchen and bathroom, a fireplace in the lounge room, and air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms. A large carport, a vege garden and large surrounding trees grace the back yard. Birmingham gardens is a 1930s suburb that sits along the edge of the University. It takes 8-10 mins to walk to the university. There are small local shops (cafe, butcher, bottle shop etc) nearby, and a 4 min drive or 20 min walk to a shopping centre. The neighbours on both sides are lovely people that we get along with very well. The house is available for full rental over the summer break and for short stays (at given times), and/or for sharing (with owner) the rest of the year. [I am at the house either 3-4 days a week, or a couple of days every three weeks on average]. Please enquire re dates.
