The updated suite is approximately 900sqft located in the private basement of our 1940s home. There is a bedroom, bathroom, office, laundry, kitchen, living room, private patio. Perfect for long-term business travelers, people relocating to the area, and home renovators! You will have all 900 sqft to yourself! The suite is separate and has a private entrance. Other things to note Pets (dogs and cat) live upstairs at this property. Aside from seeing them through the windows (perhaps the occasional greeting bark) you shouldn't have much interaction with them. Hypoallergenic linens are provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, table wear, glasses, pots and pans, toaster, coffee pot, tea kettle, coffee grinder. We also supply some coffee, tea, oil, and spices to get you by for a few days. The bathroom is equipped with a small walk in shower, some toilet paper, hand soap, travel-sized shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, and other toiletries. FYI: If you're over 6'3" (and not an extreme yogi) the shower might be a bit tight. Free laundry in the unit. As this is a basement unit, there are a few spots in the unit with "low" overhead clearance. If you are taller than 6'3" you may need to duck in the bedroom entryway. As this is a long-term stay, we only provide enough toilet paper, paper towels, laundry pods, dish soap, coffee, spices to get you started. Whole Foods Market, Safeway, Giant, and the Saturday morning Farmers' Market are all very close by if you need to restock. Street PARKING in front of the house. Maximum two vehicles! Parking is free but a visitor permit is required. Permit will be provided upon your arrival. Lost/replacement permit fee is $20 each. NOTE: you will need to take stone steps up to the house and also descend one flight of stairs to access the space as it is on the basement level. Please read the check-in directions before arriving, to make sure you have no issues finding the apartment. A door code will be provided after booking to enter the suite.
