We have a beautiful three story Victorian brownstone terraced house in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The upper maisonette has its own entrance from a quiet tree-lined street and a vestibule, which leads into a large open-planned living room, dining room and kitchen. The sun-lit room, which takes up the whole parlor floor of the house, benefits from high ceilings, large windows, at front and back, and a doorway out on to a second-story terrace, with dining table and gas-fired BBQ. Steps lead down from the terrace to a beautifully maintained garden with sofa, chairs and a fountain. The upper story of the house has one large double bedroom with en suite lavatory and sink; a second bedroom with a single bed and an office with a day bed; as well as a bathroom. The lower ground floor has double bedroom, bathroom and second kitchen/lving room. It can be accessed either from the street or from the upper apartment. The basement of the house has a washing machine and tumble dryer. We live in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn, one of the prettiest and safest neighborhoods in New York City. We are just a block away from an avenue packed with a variety of restaurants, bars and supermarkets and a farmers market We are less than a 10-minute walk to two subway stations with trains to Manhattan, and a 10 minute walk to Prospect Park, Brooklyn's most beautiful park. Also nearby are Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Brooklyn Zoo and the Barclays Center, home of the Brooklyn Nets. We are looking to rent out our house furnished or partially furnished. To avoid wear and tear, we are requesting no young kids or dogs. Sorry we can’t make exceptions to this, so please kindly do not request any kids below the age of five or dogs, no matter how cute :).
