Newton, Massachusetts, United States
We raised our family here. Newton is an extraordinary place to live. Walk to park; walk to lake, walk to T to Boston. 3 BR 2 BA apartment located on the 1st floor of a gorgeous, historic, 1883 Victorian home in Newton Highlands. Beautiful, large, circular living room plus dining area with gas fireplace. Large eat-in kitchen with sitting area. Sunny master bedroom with private bath (jacuzzi tub and shower stall) plus walk-in closet. The other 2 bedrooms are spacious with large closets! The second full bath was recently updated with a shower stall. Washer/dryer closet in unit. Central air throughout. The front porch and private backyard with a patio are shared common areas. Off-street parking for 2 cars. Pet friendly. A few blocks from the Green Line (T). Minutes to Route 9, 90, and 95. "Newton has become a regular fixture in Money’s Best Places rankings lists. The scenic “Garden City” is well known for its high-quality public schools — the graduation rate is 97% — as well as its low crime risk and leafy green streets. Located less than 10 miles west of Boston and encompassing 13 villages, many with their own parks or shopping centers. The nearby Chestnut Hill Reservoir park, originally designed by Frederick Law Olmsted — the designer of New York City’s Central Park — offers breathtaking views of the Boston skyline and is very popular with residents. But there’s another local feature that puts Newton on the map each spring: Heartbreak Hill, one of the most difficult legs of the challenging Boston Marathon course." — Sergei Klebnikov MONEY Magazine

Comments: Walking distance to 2 T stops easy-in on greenline to Boston. Walk to restaurants, coffee shops. Or a jogging trail with exercise stations (Cold Spring Park)— or a swimmable lake (Crystal Lake). Huge yard, High ceilings. SO MUCH SO CLOSE TO BOSTON.
Comments: Condo in 1883 Victorian home. Huge ceilings, circular room. Can add additional exercise room/cedar closet in basement if need more space.
Balcony or Patio
Comments: Mini Victorian playhouse in backyard. This is our home. But we are currently living at our beach house in Hull, MA. Great karma, great neighborhood.
