Toronto, Ontario, Canada
A comfortable family home in a quiet part of Toronto just minutes to downtown, Ryerson and University of Toronto. Near the end of a dead-end street and backing onto a ravine, it's an urban oasis a few steps from a 24-hour streetcar and a short bus ride to the subway. There is parking for one car. It's an easy commute to Ryerson, University of Toronto (St. George Campus) or Scarborough campus. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe, but has plenty of options for food lovers. On nearby Danforth Avenue you can have a meal from nearly anywhere in the world, and there are many other restaurants throughout Leslieville and the Beaches. Small grocery and produce stores are plentiful, as well as a variety of supermarkets. This century home has been updated over the years but retains its warmth and character. The main floor has a living room and a combined dining room and kitchen with a patio window overlooking the back yard. You can enjoy birdwatching while eating breakfast. Upstairs are three bedrooms, one primary bedroom with a huge closet and two smaller ones suitable for one person, children, or as offices. The basement is roomy enough for an office, a family room or an extra bedroom, and also has a bathroom with a shower.
Comments: Quiet dead-end street, ravine lot, family neighbourhood, close to downtown but surrounded by nature.
