Stretford, England, United Kingdom
This character Victorian terraced house is within walking/cycling distance (also lots of public transport options) of all of Manchester's major universities. It's a lovely quiet street with one of the friendliest neighbourhoods you are likely to find! (Street celebrations/ festivals a few times a year).and two very nice parks nearby, and great coffe at the end of the street! In one direction you have the city centre with all its arts/academic/cultural life, and in the other (walking distance), Chorlton, with its wholefood shops and markets; coffee shops and wine bars. You could not find a more convenient location for the universities and still escape to this warm, quiet haven, away from the noise of the city centre . House is a typical Victorian house with a relatively new Belling range cooker. Hard wood floors. Outside is a flagstone backyard with flowers beds - perfect for sitting with coffee or a glass of wine!.
