Paris, Île-de-France, France
We are renting our 62 square meters family apartment in Paris 19. There is a big living room (35 m2) with a view towards the Buttes Chaumont (a beautiful park) and 2 rooms (11 and 10 m22).with a view on the canal and the Eiffel tower. The place is charming, bright and sunny, wooden floors and big windows. It is really comfy and relatively quiet (for a big city). The métro station is Jaurès, line 2 (the dark blue line). All necessary amenities should be there (microwave, oven+stove, dishwasher, washing machine, and fridge) + a garage spot if necessary + the possibility to use our car (with an extra insurance) We are renting our place because we'll be away for the semester (for a research stay in the US). We are looking for easy going like-minded people. Families are most welcome as our apartment is well suited for families (furniture and toys) - but note this is a 12th floor and there are 2 balconies ! The place is also perfect for a couple, as a bedroom can be used as an office. And the leaving room is big enough to set up another open space office. We are renting for a fair price for Parisian standards, because this is what the place actually costs us + we are looking for people who would like the place for what it is (an intellectual middle-class family apartment, where people actually live /of course we'll empty it from unnecessary stuff before we leave) + we do not offer high standard amenities or services (no doorman but a very nice and helpful "gardien", no cleaning service, etc...). The district is multicultural and trendy (many cafés, restaurants, cinemas, péniches, parks) and safe. To sum it up: it is a very nice place for a teaching or research stay (it is 15 to 20 mn away by bike from Campus Condorcet for instance). We are willing to give more information of course and answer any questions you might have. Between my husband and I, we can answer in English, Spanish, German or French, if that might help!
Comments: We have flexibility as far as the start date, but not as far as the end date (we'll be coming back from our semester abroad with our kids)
Campus Condorcet - Hôtel à projets et siège social
Comments: Wonderful views, 2 mn walk to the canal, great space to walk and jog (many parks nearby, a rarity in Paris)
Comments: We have 2 kids (4 & 6) so if necessary we can leave some toys + their bunk beds. We have a car and we can lend it if you take an extra insurance (it is an automatic).
Balcony or Patio
Comments: This place has wonderful views, it is very sunny. Neighbors are nice. And the "gardien" is both very nice and very helpful.
