Greater London, England, United Kingdom
Yours will be a bright and sunny bedroom overlooking our ample private garden, with a double-bed, wardrobe, and shelves with a shared bathroom, kitchen, living and dining space. All in a Neo-Georgian house in the Duchy of Cornwall Estate that sits on the quiet and charming Courtenay Square, just a hop away from Kennington Triangle with coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants. Available from 1 September 2021 for anywhere from 1-12 months. The house is in SE11, a short 5 minute walk from Kennington Station (Northern Line), and 10 minutes from Vauxhall Station (Victoria Line). Your housemate: I’m an American woman who moved to London nearly 4 years ago to get my Masters degree at LSE (in Social and Cultural Psychology) and now work with a remarkable international non-profit organisation that centres on improving health and reducing poverty. I am passionate about social justice, lean towards the progressive end of the spectrum, love travel and experiencing new cultures, and also like exploring London. When I'm not traveling, I tend to be a bit of a homebody and like a peaceful, quiet home environment. About you: I’m looking for an independent yet friendly, conscientious, respectful and reliable housemate. Would suit a working professional, mature student or academic, but that’s flexible. Age and gender is less important than compatible living styles and personality. This is a non-smoking and non-pet household. An ideal housemate would likely find our lovely house surrounded by trees to be a retreat from busy London. Please tell me a bit about yourself when you get in touch. Thanks so much!
Comments: A lovely, bright double bedroom overlooking our private garden, with shared living space (bathroom, living and dining room, kitchen). Room comes furnished with own double bed, wardrobe, end tables and shelves.
