Cobblestone streets, gas lanterns, turn-of-the century (19th!) homes, tall beeches, lindens and chestnuts, yet only 10 minutes on foot from the Wannsee Bahnhof and then a fast ride with the Regionalexpress to Zoo (TU), S-Bahn (S7) and S-1 to Friedrichstrasse. Shopping at Schlachtensee or closer by, the Nikolasee S-Bahnhof at Netto (10 minutes on foot) Potsdam is just a quick 10 minutes by S-Bahn. Ground floor apartment, very quiet, no upstairs neighbors above the living/dining rooms, with garden, terrace, lots of light, huge study, generous living room, dining room, two bedrooms (or one bedroom, two studies), one big bath, separate shower bath with sink, guest WC off entry hall, modern kitchen with dishwasher, private laundry room with washer and dryer. Rent includes all utilities: wireless internet, telephone, cable TV, radiant heat tile floors, instant hot water. The gardener mows the "lawn", takes care of the leaves and is included in the rent. Other garden adventures are up to the renters. There is a bus five minutes away on foot, in one direction to the U-Bahn at Mexico Platz or "downtown" Zehlendorf, and the other to the Stern Center (Potsdam) if you want a shopping mall. The Drei Linden Schule is a block and a half away. Quick access to forest trails for jogging, walking, etc. easy access to Potsdam. The building dates from 1912, this apartment was added in 1985, renovated in 2004 and is very private since it has its own entrance. We have been renting through SabbaticalHomes for about fifteen years now and have had very positive experiences.
