Edinburgh Airport is 15-20 minutes by car/bus • Although close to transport links and local amenities, our apartment is set away from traffic and crowds. Indeed, it’s so quiet that one can hear the proverbial pin drop • Buses picking up and dropping off passengers at 3 stops 2 minutes’ walk from the flat cover routes in most of the City. It’s a 5-minute ride to Princes Street • From the Airport, it’s a 20-minute ride to the bus stop only 2 minutes’ walk from the flat. The Airport train/tram service takes 26 minutes • Haymarket Train Station is 0.9 mile away (3-min bus ride) • Located in Upper Coltbridge Terrace, our flat retains many Victorian features such as cornices and open fireplaces, and offers far-reaching views over the rooftops of historic Edinburgh to the hills beyond • The modernised kitchen has period charm with a window seat and useful clothes pulley. Appliances include: dishwasher; washer drier; large freestanding fridge freezer; microwave; 4-burner gas hob; electric oven; kettle and toaster • We provide tableware, crockery, kitchenware, glassware, placemats, coasters, microwave-able food storage containers, serving trays, etc. Also provided are mop, bucket, and vacuum cleaner. • The flat has 4 bedrooms sleeping a maximum of 7 people: 2 doubles (1x5’ bed and 1x4' bed); 1 single; and 1 twin (2'6" plus 3'6" beds that join up into a super-king bed) • The bathroom has a bath, shower, sink and toilet • There are 2 reception rooms: a large dining room and lovely lounge • Outside is a small area to the front of the flat with a garden bench to enjoy the Scottish sun! • There is FREE STREET PARKING in our cul-de-sac • Apartment is registered with Edinburgh City Council and meets all legal rental requirements ranging from certified electric and gas installations, energy efficiency rules, and a fully wired-in fire alarm system • Most of our tenants have been academics and their families. Edinburgh University’s main campus at George Square is only 1.5 miles away and Kings Buildings is a half mile beyond. There are good bus links to Heriot Watt University and other educational institutions • Excellent private and public schools and nurseries are within easy distance, with the nearest a couple of minutes' walk. Local amenities within 2 minutes’ walk include a pharmacy, bakery and other shops • Green spaces like the Water of Leith and Old Railway Line for walking and cycling are right behind the flat. Recreation facilities, Edinburgh Zoo, Corstorphine Hill, etc. are a mile or less distant. • Our apartment can be used for holiday, short, and long lets. Rental rates vary according to length of stay • WEEKLY HOLIDAY LETS: £1800 per week, including council tax, utilities, terrestrial TV, and WIFI. Telephone is NOT included.
