Semi-retired academic (medicine) travels between USA , Amsterdam and Africa for work . Very pleasant apartment that I happily rent out. With housing shortages the airbnb activities have disturbed me in cities like Amsterdam. My home is to be enjoyed by folks who work and are temporarily residing in Amsterdam typically 6 m ( musicians, visiting professors, others with a job here etc.) furnished 1(-2) BR, 2,5 bath apartment in lovely "green" street in down town amsterdam. sunny, very quiet street (the occasional echos in the street....sometimes a noisy neighborhood party where you may be invited) walk out of your home and 200 yards out of the street: canals, water, coffee place le baton. 5-10 minutes from Central Station, 10 minutes from Dam square or farmers/flowers markets. in price included cable TV, wireless internet not electricity/gas and cleaning service in minutes walk from train station (15-20 minutes to schiphol, multiple trains to paris, berlin etc.) and extensive trams/buses locally note: 1st floor = one set of stairs. inside apartment circular stairs to 2nd floor. somewhat tricky for little citizens. or those with walking limited mobility, there is no elevator)
