It's an apartment in the heart of Madrid in a residential neighborhood, close to shops, cultural life, and the university. It features a spacious covered terrace for relaxation, bathed in sunlight. The apartment, facing both north and south, is bright and sunny. The open kitchen is generously connected to the living room. There's a dedicated study area. Bedrooms are spacious. The building has a concierge service. It's close to excellent schools. The neighborhood is peaceful and well-connected by public transport. Our intention is to spend a year abroad as a family. My husband is an academic at ESADE and can apply for a year in a city with a reputable university. We have two children, currently 13 (girl) and 11 (boy). We would like San Diego, but we are open to any place that appeals to us. We love the mountains. Washington DC is another option. I work in banking supervision and will be doing consulting from home that year. The idea is to exchange homes with someone looking for something similar, swapping lives for a year. However, we are also open to renting the house during that year without the need for a reciprocal exchange
