Cosy and charming East Oxford artisan cottage with wood-burning stove (as well as central heating). My house is in a quiet street, a 5 minute walk from the Cowley Road's eclectic restaurants & bars and 5 mins from a peaceful nature reserve and the river. 1.5 km from the the Oxford college area. Oxford also has great transport links (1h train to London). My house has two double bedrooms (each with a double bed) and one single bedroom. The bed in the single bedroom can be stored if you prefer and the room can be set up as an office/study with a large desk. Sheets/bedding/towels provided. There is also a living room, kitchen, and a bathroom with a bath and shower on the ground floor. The house has a charming small courtyard garden with a hammock, bbq, and 6-seater table. I'm a postdoctoral fellow working in Ireland during university terms, and my house is available during term-times only from 1 October 2024 until 31 May 2025. You can book my house for a single month, though I'd prefer a booking for at least one university term. I have flexibility for extra days/weeks before/after each term - please ask. From October 2024 my partner will be working the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes in Paris 3 and we would also be interested in an exchange for a Paris apartment with one bedroom or more.
