Los Angeles bungalow in University Southern of California (USC) neighborhood. Our home is a family- and dog-friendly home with fully enclosed back and front yards that accommodates visitors who need to work from home or close to the university. This is our home throughout the year, and we live in the thick of LA--close to the Natural Science Museum, Angel City and LA Football Club stadium, the Coliseum (where USC plays football), Science Center, African American Museum, Leimart Park, and West Adams restaurants. LA has a lot of traffic but the location of our home allows us to avoid because we live right off the main bike path (Exposition Blvd to Ballona Creek Bike Path that goes all the way to the ocean) and the Western Metro E line (Santa Moncia to Downtown LA). We live 5 minute drive / 10 minute bike ride from Target, Trader's Joe, local coffee shops, and 10 minute walk to butcher, fruit and veg market, taco stands, and local schools. The only time we use our car in LA is to visit family who live in suburbs. Fully furnished home with high speed internet (Speed test on 09/30/23 shows 506.18 download, 11.93 upload) with 3 Eero mesh networks, movie room with 120 inch projector screen, Amazon/Alexa speakers throughout, and new Nest central heating and air conditioning. Our house was built in the 1940s and and all appliances (washer/dryer, fridge, oven, instant pot, food processor), windows, AC/heating, and Ring outdoor security system, were purchased in last 4 years and therefore fairly new.
