Description

We are looking for a home exchange in Australia. We are open to the location but need to be near public transportation. We would love to have access to a car for local errands (grocery shopping, etc.). We are both retired academics (taught in the USA and Australia). We would like to return to Australia and spend 6 months exploring more regions of the country. We are both Australian residents and have Australian driving license. We currently live in a typical French town (Ales) midway between the mountain range of the Cévennes and the Camargue, an ideal place from which to explore the mountains, the Mediterranean sea, natural parks and Provence. The town has excellent public transportation, allowing you to catch buses and trains to explore other regions in France and Europe. Our condominium has just been renovated and has brand new furniture and appliances. It has a lot of natural sunlight and is in the center of a small French town with daily markets, grocery stores, shops, theater, cafés, public swimming pool, gyms, and superb restaurants.
