Here in the 14éme arrondissement of Paris near to the intersection of the rue d'Alésia and the rue Raymond Losserand, we are certainly close to all the amenities. There is a supermarket at 1 minute walk and a bakery at 3 minute walk. The locality is complete with all manner of shops and restaurants. This includes at least 3 specialist cheese shops within a 5 minute walk! A farmers' market is held each Sunday just outside the building selling a wide variety of fresh and local produce. The location is equally well served by transport with two metro lines (Plaisance on Metro 13 is 2 minute walk and Alesia on Metro 4 is 10 minutes). For the slightly more adventurous, Paris is becoming more and more bike friendly, so this is also an option. Regarding the apartment itself, we love it and are convinced that you will too. Here are photographs showing the main rooms. Although these speak for themselves, note also that the living area can be partitioned from the dining area to create another bedroom as the sofa folds out into a double bed. As well as the main bathroom, there is also another standup shower. 4 people is cozy but certainly not uncomfortable. Feel free to play the piano.
