The whole house is furnished and is accessible to the guest. Hello, I'm Amy, and I proudly work as a travel nurse, previously a JHH employee & originally from WA state. One of my heartfelt ambitions is to create a welcoming home that caters to the needs of fellow travelers when they're away from their own homes. My desire is to ensure that every traveler who stays here finds everything they need to feel comfortable and at ease while away from friends/family. If there's anything lacking in the home that could enhance their comfort, I am more than willing to make those accommodations because I truly understand the challenges of our profession. Having said that, I want to emphasize that this home is open to anyone, and I extend my warm invitation to all travelers seeking a cozy and caring environment. KITCHEN. Pots, dish soap, pans, sponges eating utensils, cooking utensils, all common spices & sauces, fridge, freezer, kettle, bread box, french press, blender, stand-mixer, microwave, lunch containers, lunch bag, cutting board, Tupperware, ice tray, all-purpose flour, sugar, coffee, light breakfast or snacks, paper towel, tea, mason jars & baking supplies. DINING AREA. Large dining table with 4 seats, coasters, table cover, salt & pepper. PATIO. We have a small back patio you can go and hangout on. Half the patio space is a catio (if you have never heard of this it's essentially a large outdoor cat cage - ours is 10x10). BATHROOM. Toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bath towels, hand towels, 3 hampers, Qtips, flossers, bathroom cleaning solution. LAUNDRY. The home has a washer and drier. Oxyclean, Detergent & wool balls are provided. OFFICE. Office space is in its own separate room with a closing door. Desk with high quality computer chair. Fast & reliable internet. High speed internet. BEDROOM. Very comfortable Queen size bed (brand: Casper), high quality bedding, dresser, closet to hang clothes, bedside table, hangers, eye mask, ear plugs, comforter, blankets, sheets. LIVING ROOM. Couch. We do not have a TV but we do own a projector that you can connect to your laptop to watch movies. We have multiple board games also. We also have a container that holds the big blue jugs of water (there's a picture of it listed) if you desire filtered water. We will have 2 fully filled up for you upon arrival. LOCATION. A short 10-minute walk will take you to the beautiful Johns Hopkins University Campus. So this location would be also ideal for any students or professors. Across the street from the R-House, which is essentially a warehouse full of different restaurants. There are is a ton of parks, cafes and cute home owned businesses nearby. Baltimore is great because we are both near DC and NYC. There is also a ton to see just in Maryland, Virginia, and Delaware. CLEANING: Mop/bucket, robot vacuums, small hand vacuum, broom, microfiber towels, paper towels, cleaning solution. Cleaning gloves. FITNESS. I provide a high quality yoga mat and there is a large room that allows for yoga/stretching or exercising. Many gyms nearby. There is great running trails from my house also if you like that. Yoga studios and rock climbing gym 5 min drive away also. SAFETY: Rest easy knowing you're in a safe neighborhood, adjacent to the police station, and frequented by university security. First aid kit, fire alarm, CO2 alarm.
