Our home is part of a triplex but we are a free standing house so no shared walls with neighbors. We have a fully fenced yard that has a large patio space, trees for shade and room for a bbq and outdoor fire pit. Our tiny kitchen has everything you need to cook at home but it is cozy. Our living/dining area has room for a dining table that seats six as well as a large sectional couch, a piano, a large screen tv, fireplace and a desk as an optional work space. There are two very large bedrooms. "The Dorm Room" as we call it has a queen sized bed and a single over double bunk bed. It has an adjoining bathroom (sink and toilet only). The master bedroom has a king sized bed and includes a desk for another optional work space. The hall bathroom has a toilet and shower but no bathtub. Our triplex does have laundry facilities but they are coin operated. This midcentury gem is not new but it is full of character and the vaulted ceilings help this 1500 square foot home feel open and spacious. We are within walking distance to downtown Los Altos which is full of amazing restaurants, darling shops and even has a mini redwood glen nearby. The farmer's market runs from June to October and our town also boasts an arts and wine festival as well. You can get to San Francisco, Santa Cruz, or Half Moon Bay in under 40 minutes. San Jose and San Francisco airports are only 20 minutes away. You can be to Oakland or Berkeley in an hour, Napa and wine country or the Muir Woods in just over an hour and Carmel in and hour and a half. It's the perfect location for a little bit of everything and you are only 5 miles away from Stanford University.
