our mid-century Maine modern for your LA

We're interested in trading our unique mid-century house outside of Portland (Maine) for a house in Los Angeles, for around a year from January-December 2024 (though our dates are flexible). Our home is a mid-century modern architectural gem (designed by a protege of Frank Lloyd Wright), unique to Southern Maine. Featuring original architectural details, gorgeous granite walls, slate floors, three fireplaces (including one outside on the terrace), filled with art and surrounded by Maine woods. We live in Falmouth, a town just outside Portland, Maine. We are walking distance to some beautiful trails along the Penobscot River, and just a short drive to some of the best local beaches and hiking trails that Southern Maine has to offer. Portland is a ten minute drive away, and the Portland International Jetport (PWM) is a twenty minute drive away.
