Great Family House in Cambridge Near Harvard, Tufts, & ISB

We are looking for someone to rent our beautiful single family house in North Cambridge for the first half of 2025. The house has an open plan downstairs with a recently updated kitchen, dining area, living room, powder room, and den/playroom. There are two bedrooms and a full bath on the second floor and an office and third bedroom on the third floor. In the basement there is a full play area (complete with built in monkey bars for younger kids) as well as a guest suite with a bedroom and a full bath. We have a driveway and a fenced in back yard (perfect for dogs). There is also a big front garden (and if you are a gardener, we'd love your help with keeping it up!). It's an ideal house for a family as there is plenty of room for everyone and lots of space to play as well as work. The house is very well connected to Cambridge and Boston. It's a 30 minute walk to Harvard, but there is a bus that goes directly to campus essentially out the front door. It's less than 10 minutes to walk to Davis or Alewife to get on the Red Line and we are right down the hill from Tufts. We are also right up against the Minuteman Bike Path which makes bike commuting easy and is a lovely place to walk (with or without dogs!) It's also ideally situated for a family whose kids will be attending the International School of Boston (ISB) as we are a short walk away. Our street is quiet and calm, but we're close to great stores, restaurants, and services. It would be easy to live here with only one car or none at all. This is our home, so it's got plenty of the normal imperfections of life. But it's a very comfortable place to be and we hope to find a family who can enjoy it while we're away.
