Cozy Apartment in the Heart of Barcelona

Hi, we're a couple of academics in our fourties. We are open to exchange or rent for a long period. Do get in touch if interested. The area is lovely, in the centre of Barcelona (I walk everyday to the Historic Building of the Universitat de Barcelona), a 5-min walk to the closest metro station (L4 Joanic, 1o min to L2 Sagrada Familia). A 10-min walk from the Sagrada Familia itself (you can actually see the towers from our communal roof-top terrace), a short metro ride to the beach, and a 15-min walk from gorgeous Park Güell. The apartment is located within the vibrant and super-cool Barrio de Gràcia, with its ample offer of cafes, shops, amenities and cultural activities. The apartment has been fully renovated, with wooden floors and high ceilings, preserving the "volta catalana" features. It feels bigger than it actually is. There is a main bedroom (with a Queen-sized double bed and plenty of storage), an additional room that can be converted to a bedroom (pull-down, big single bed, and a large wall-to-wall fitted wardrobe), a living room (incl. smart TV), a kitchen (incl. a 4-burner ceramic stove, a large fridge-freezer, an oven, a kettle, a toaster, and a dishwasher, all electric), a dinning space with a table sitting 4, and a bathroom (shower, sink, toilet, storage cabinet, water boiler and washing machine). All rooms are exterior (south-west aspect) with windows in all of them (incl. the bathroom), making for a very bright and airy home. There is also a small balcony, accessible from the living room and the main bedroom, where we grow our plants, with 2 loungers for sunbathing. There is A/C, although you won't probably need it in those months. Incredibly bright during the day, safe and quiet at night. Very comfy. You'll love it here!
