I am a Professor of Art at Portland State University, on sabbatical 2024-2025. My husband, two small dogs, and I are looking to live in any borough of New York City during the period of July-December 2024, during the summer and fall semester. Our ideal situation would be a small apartment that has at least one bedroom and another room that can be used as an office where I can work on the film and research projects I'll be doing on sabbatical. My husband also paints and draws, so if there was space for him to do that too, that would be great. However, we are flexible about all of this: the space, the exact dates. I grew up in Poughkeepsie, and lived in Brooklyn in the early 2000s, so I am eager to return to this part of the world for an extended stay.
