Description

We are two academics working at the University of Edinburgh who are typically away for fieldwork in the summers and winter and often during our son's school breaks. Our apartment is in a traditional tenement building with a large green area out back, around the corner from several buses into the city, and conveniently located to shopping. Morningside is a bustling neighbourhood with shops, cafes, and restaurants, but also just a short walk away from the beautiful Hermitage of Braid with views across the city, and Braidburn Park, great for a morning run. A children's playground is a ten minute walk away, and Craiglockhart with its woody walks is also a walk away!
