We are a young married couple moving to New York for a year-long stint! Galen is an architect who has always wanted to try living in NY and loves music and theater. Lexi is a newly-graduated nurse practitioner looking to extend her education through a year-long nurse practitioner fellowship at an LGBTQ+-care clinic in Brooklyn. Our home on Bainbridge Island is our favorite place to be! We have a fantastic location within easy walking distance to the Seattle-Bainbridge ferry, and just blocks from the bustling little main street on the island. Walking distance to the library, theater, restaurants and grocery stores, and just minutes from the various beaches and parks throughout the island! We are also right next door to the farmer's market that occurs from April - November, and the Bainbridge Island Art Museum is just down the street. The adventures available on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula are only a short drive away, whether hiking in the stunning Olympic Mountains, camping in the historic rainforest, or strolling on the beaches lining the Puget Sound. Our home is cozy and tidy with lots of flexibility for bedroom or office configurations. The modern kitchen includes an induction cooktop, full-size fridge, dishwasher, large island with farmhouse sink, and plenty of storage. An additional fridge/freezer is available in the attached garage. Two primary bedrooms offer roomy daylit spaces that can easily be configured as either bedroom or office space. A ground-level studio space can also be configured as a third bedroom or office, and features a small kitchenette, a full attached bathroom, and opens onto a garden patio. Stacked washer & dryer unit is available between the primary bedrooms, with an additional washer/dryer in the ground-level studio/office. We are non-smokers with no pets and no children, so our home is clean and odor-free.
