Charming family house in central Portland, Oregon location

Description

We are a family of three with two working professionals and a 2nd grader looking for a 2-3 folks to live in our 3 bd/1 ba house for a year while we move abroad. The house is a family home and is on a fairly busy road in a centrally located neighborhood. We currently have a dog who will be moving with us (so house may not be appropriate for folks with allergies). The house has a remodeled bath and kitchen on the main floor and insulated upstairs with a heatpump (heating and cooling) upstairs. Heating on the main floor has a gas thermostat and we use window A/C units for summer weather. The house has a landscaped backyard with an all weather picnic table and chairs and a smoker for grilling/cooking. We cook and entertain often and the house is well-suited to dinner parties with a full kitchen. While there's no garage, the unfurnished basement offers storage for bikes and has a washer/dryer for use. The house is on a street with a dedicated bike path and awesome biking destinations (20 min to OMSI or Mt. Tabor); walk score for this location is 88/100 with two grocery stores (Safeway, Trader Joes) within walking distance and restaurants, Creston Park (and elementary school) 2 minutes walk away.
