Description
Our 1br+loft, 1200 sqft apartment in San Diego's UTC neighborhood is perfect for a single tenant or a couple looking for a summer by the beach. 12 minute drive to the shore, also accessible by bus! Other excellent places to adventure to include the Anza Borrego Desert (2hr), Joshua Tree NP (3hr), Tijuana Mexico (1.5hr), and Big Bear (3h). Washer and dryer in unit, as well as dishwasher, convection oven, and trash compactor. Unit has A/C, but you probably won't use it; there are windows on both sides of the large main room for a wonderful cross-breeze. Complex has a pool, hot tub, grill, and tennis courts, which we do indeed play pickleball on =] Walkable to a few fitness centers, including OrangeTheory, 24hr fitness, and the local JCC. Also walkable to 4 different grocery stores (Vons, Trader Joe's, Ralphs, and Whole Foods), a large park, an upscale outdoor mall with great restaurants, and the Blue Line trolley that goes downtown.

Comments: I'm not totally sure if my landlord will accept a pet, but we can try, as I have an ESA dog. Re: small kids, the staircase worries me, but happy to let you be the judge. I will be leaving my car here, and willing to negotiate use!

Comments: From time to time there are required inspections and things in the building; would be great if you could let maintenance in when required, etc.

Comments: The apartment is on the 3rd (and 4th) floor of an enclosed building called Villa Europa. Dedicated parking underground, with elevator up to 3rd floor/first level of the apartment. Spiral staircase up to the loft/office area of the apartment.
