We live a the historic center of Cadiz, beside the Cathedral square. We are close to two really beautiful beaches and many restaurants and cafes. We live on a quiet street in a very safe neighbourhood and city. Our home is suitable for families with young children as well as adults travelling and working from home in Europe. Our home has beautiful skylights and balconies so it is very bright all year round. We have air-conditioning in the summer and heat in the winter. Our beds are very comfortable and the windows to the street are made to block out any noise. We do live in a quiet street even though it is so close to the cathedral square. We live on the second floor in the center. There is no elevator as it is a historic building and an elevator can not be put in so it is not recommended for people with mobility issues. There is also a set of stairs to go to the rooftop garden. Cadiz is a great place to live and explore Southern Europe. You can reach Seville, Cordoba and Granada by car as well as Portugal and Morroco. The rooftop garden and sitting area is a pleasant place to spend time and is easily suited for someone who is working or studying online as we have high speed internet. There are gorgeous beaches close to Cadiz as well as small pictures cities. Cádiz and surrounding towns like Jerez de la Frontera are easily accessible by train, but having a car opens up possibilities for further exploration of Cádiz province. On a passing recommendation, for example, Vejer de la Frontera, is a charming town that gleams white in the sunshine. The province of Cádiz is known for its Sherry Triangle, where bodegas in three towns produce the fortified wine. I think anyone would enjoy our home and the beaches and quiet rooftop.
