About Me
Dear visitor, I am a Dutch woman and independant scholar and historian, writer and lecturer, specialized in the history of (Jewish) refugees in the 20th century. I started my career at the academy of arts (fashion and public design), but I turned the perspective towards science, and got my doctorate. Yet, for several reasons, I am an independant scholar and try the last ten years to work in commission as a writer or as a lecturer. The last years I started a research in Morocco about the European Jewish refugees who passed Casablanca in 1940-1942 on their way to freedom. For this research I am an associated researcher of the Netherlands Institute for War, Holocaust and Genocide Studies in Amsterdam.
