About Me
My husband and I have spent our lives in academia and are now both retired. I am a native speaker of French and have master degrees in French and in German from the Université of Paris-Sorbonne and from the Phillips Universät in Marburg an der Lahn, Germany. I speak French, German and English fluently. I have been a teacher of French language and literature all my life. I taught for thirty years in a private school in Ann Arbor, MI. I am the founder and current director of “French in Ann Arbor”. My husband is a graduate of English from the University of Michigan. He has taught English at that very university and also in Germany. When we returned from Germany, he became a Senior Advisor in a special academic program at the University of Michigan. We have lived in Ann Arbor since 1980. We love to travel and have done many family trips inside the USA and Europe. Books, movies, museums and concerts are a passion as well.
