Historic one-bedroom apt – Bergmannkiez (Kreuzberg 63)

High ceilings, moldings, grand double doors and a canopy bed -- this charming apartment is perfectly located to easily access anywhere in central Berlin for work or play before coming home to relax in a fully-equipped, cozy and well-furnished home.
In a building dating to 1875, the 75-square meter apartment is spacious, light and with small touches to make visitors comfortable -- such as a down comforter, guidebooks and dvds. Also, the bedroom (with a double-bed) and the living room (with a comfortable sofa that becomes double bed), shuts off from each other and has separate access to the kitchen and bathroom in case you need privacy or quiet time to work.
Note: The apartment is on the third floor. If you have mobility issues, you should be aware there is no elevator in this building.

The neighborhood, the Bergmannkiez, is in one of the most sought after areas of Berlin, full of shops, restaurants, a market hall and other amenities, including a wonderful park with a waterfall around the corner. It is lively and diverse, without being too busy or loud.

Transportation: I live seven minutes away from three subway lines (S1, S2, S25 and U7 (and a central bus line – the M19 as well as the 140 are around the corner); 15 minutes to another two subway lines (U6, U1), and 20 minutes to another subway line (U2). It is also possible to walk to some attractions in Mitte and nearby such as Templehof Park.
I will provide you with a guide to my apartment and my neighborhood as well as tips for Berlin.
