Great apartment in the heart of historic Boston available June 1st - June 29, 2019

Fully furnished, one bedroom apartment available from June 1st - June 29.
Situated on a quiet, tree-lined street, in the historic South End district of Boston, the apartment has very tall ceilings, lots of light, hardwood floors throughout, and is tastefully furnished.
It has a living room, a dining alcove, a spacious bedroom that opens onto a large deck, with table and chairs as well as many plants and flowers. The kitchen comes with a dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, electric coffee machine, etc.. The bathroom is a full bath (bathtub with shower) and has a washer and dryer.
The apartment comes with all necessary linens, towels, sheets, and cutlery, and is equipped with two window air-conditioners (one in the living room, one in the bedroom).
Superb, central location: close to three subway stops and many bus lines. Within close walking distance to many cultural venues (theaters, Symphony Hall, etc..). Many stores, cafes and restaurants just steps away.
Extremely convenient to many universities, hospitals and medical schools in the area, and less then a 5 mns walk to the Amtrak train station (serving several commuter rails, Providence, New Haven, New York City and beyond).
The rent is $2500 a month + electricity
More pictures and information as well as feedback from previous tenants available on request. Just to be clear: the reviews appearing here concern my apartment in Paris which I also rent.
Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any question at all. Thank you very much! Merci!

Those of us who rent frequently in Paris have suffered disappointments. Not here. Experience has taught us that renting from an agency web site is not the way to go––better to interact with real people than with software. From negotiating which currency to use for payment, to picking up the keys, to making ourselves at home, the process was seamless, thanks to our considerate hosts. Moreover, every convenience, and indeed the whole Paris experience, is on your doorstop here in the heart of Montparnasse. You’ll want to return. Excellent budcarlos 1/27/2017 6:28:00 PM
Gilberte's place is quite small but also, as they say, perfectly formed. Every square centimetre is put to at least one good use and so the apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's also very well located. And to top it all off Gilberte is lovely to deal with, communicative, helpful, even anticipating your needs. I would certainly like to stay again and have already recommended Gilberte's place to others. Excellent JenniferRachel 1/1/2017 1:53:00 PM
We stayed half of December and half of January to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday (which happened to fall on the same day as the Charlie Hebdo massacre) and a baptism of the baby of our friend's daughter who married a Parisian. Loved the area and how close it was to everything. We walked or took the buses everywhere. If the weather was warmer we would have used the Velib bike system but a tad cold in December and January...The apartment is charming and we loved the view of the bakery across the street and watching the people and the life on the street. Creperies all along the street and one right below the apartment and could smell the delicious scent of warm butter when we opened the broom closet. Mmmm. Nice and quiet for sleeping with a comfortable "real" bed. And even a small bathtub so we could have a soak after walking for hours all over the city every day. Big wardrobe with lots of room for our clothes and luggage. Good WiFi connection. Washing machine worked great. We were able to cook lots of meals "chez nous" as well. Great market and Monoprix around the corner. Montparnasse cemetary a short walk away. Lots of cinema and theatres so close as well and museums easy to access. Gilberte was very helpful and answered all of our numerous questions right away. We wanted to return in October but the apartment is already rented. Merci Beaucoup Gilberte and Francois! Gilberte is the the kindest most generous landlord we've ever known. Her tiny apartment is steps away from the best French bakeries, cafes, and restaurants in the city, 4 metro lines, buses and trains at Gare Montparnasse. Watch below your window as daily life on bustling Rue d'Odessa unfolds from dawn well into the night. It is totally equipped and a perfect fit for one person or two who really, really like each other. This is the quintessential Paris pied a terre. Excellent gregory 5/31/2015 11:19:00 AM
I really enjoyed my stay in this charming apartment. Everything was as promised. I had an excellent communication with Gilberte who was always available, and who prepared a booklet of useful information not only about the apartment but also about the area, services and the support network. Highest recommendations! Excellent silvija koklaj-filipovic 7/16/2014 9:44:00 AM
