Great apartment in the heart of historic Boston available May 1, 2016

Fully furnished, one bedroom apartment available from May 1st - September 30, 2016, while I am away in France.
Situated on a quiet, tree-lined street, in the historic South End district of Boston, the apartment has very tall ceilings, lots of light, hardwood floors throughout, and is tastefully furnished.
It has a living room, a dining alcove, a spacious bedroom that opens onto a large deck, with table and chairs as well as many plants and flowers. The kitchen has new appliances and comes with a dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster, electric coffee machine, etc.. The bathroom is a full bath (bathtub with shower) and has a washer and dryer.
The apartment comes with all necessary linens, towels, sheets, and cutlery, as well as two window air-conditioners (one in the living room, one in the bedroom).
Superb, central location: close to three subway stops and many bus lines. Within close walking distance to many cultural venues (theaters, Symphony Hall, etc..). Many stores, cafes and restaurants just steps away.
Extremely convenient to many universities, hospitals and medical schools in the area, and less then a 5 mns walk to the Amtrak train station (serving several commuter rails, Providence, New Haven, New York City and beyond).
The rent is $2100 a month.
More pictures and information as well as feedback from previous tenants available on request.
Don't hesitate to contact me if you have more questions. Thank you very much! Merci!

We stayed half of December and half of January to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday (which happened to fall on the same day as the Charlie Hebdo massacre) and a baptism of the baby of our friend's daughter who married a Parisian. Loved the area and how close it was to everything. We walked or took the buses everywhere. If the weather was warmer we would have used the Velib bike system but a tad cold in December and January...The apartment is charming and we loved the view of the bakery across the street and watching the people and the life on the street. Creperies all along the street and one right below the apartment and could smell the delicious scent of warm butter when we opened the broom closet. Mmmm. Nice and quiet for sleeping with a comfortable "real" bed. And even a small bathtub so we could have a soak after walking for hours all over the city every day. Big wardrobe with lots of room for our clothes and luggage. Good WiFi connection. Washing machine worked great. We were able to cook lots of meals "chez nous" as well. Great market and Monoprix around the corner. Montparnasse cemetary a short walk away. Lots of cinema and theatres so close as well and museums easy to access. Gilberte was very helpful and answered all of our numerous questions right away. We wanted to return in October but the apartment is already rented. Merci Beaucoup Gilberte and Francois! Gilberte is the the kindest most generous landlord we've ever known. Her tiny apartment is steps away from the best French bakeries, cafes, and restaurants in the city, 4 metro lines, buses and trains at Gare Montparnasse. Watch below your window as daily life on bustling Rue d'Odessa unfolds from dawn well into the night. It is totally equipped and a perfect fit for one person or two who really, really like each other. This is the quintessential Paris pied a terre. Excellent gregory 5/31/2015 11:19:00 AM
I really enjoyed my stay in this charming apartment. Everything was as promised. I had an excellent communication with Gilberte who was always available, and who prepared a booklet of useful information not only about the apartment but also about the area, services and the support network. Highest recommendations! Excellent silvija koklaj-filipovic 7/16/2014 9:44:00 AM
My husband and I loved this apartment. The owners were pleasant, easy to deal with and very helpful. The apartment is as described and I have already recommended it to friends. I would certainly stay again. Excellent Sharon 1/24/2014 12:36:00 PM
No doubt that Chatelet is the indisputable transportation hub of Paris. But in second place you'll find Montparnasse – which is where this apartment is located. That is one of its best features – and there are many others. The photos provided in the ad are accurate – when the sun shines the living room really is that bright. I stayed there for two months during the fall of 2011 end enjoyed it immensely. The kitchen is well supplied, the television-internet-phone services function as they should, and the bed is comfortable. The apartment is perfect for a single person or a couple. The bakery just across the street is excellent – to the extent that I was always disappointed to have to go elsewhere on the weekday it was closed. Neighbourhood shopping and the great number of local restaurants are both hard to beat. You can walk to the post office and to half a dozen cinemas. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment and would be happy to stay there again. As well, the owners are very pleasant to deal with.
