About Me
Ezra Shales was born in New York City and his interest in the productive confusion that lies at the intersection of design, craft, and art is rooted in his childhood admiration for both graffiti and the monuments from the city beautiful movement. He published on artisans who built the Empire State Building and only recently made the journey to the observation deck with his children. He has traveled throughout Italy, Turkey, France, England, Finland Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
