Bright and cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with 2 balconies now available. 3 minute walk to the lake, 4 minutes to the grocery store/pharmacy/bank, 5 minutes to a playground, or 1 minute to the bus stop. Your choice: Relax and focus for an academic writing stint, or take a family vacation and stroll 20 minutes to Montreux. Montreux is just over 1 mile, Vevey 4.5 miles (Nestlé, lakeside pool, etc.), Lavaux wine country is on the way to Lausanne (Universities, art, nightlife, etc.), 13 miles away. The Geneva airport is an hour away.

The apartment is in a well-maintained building with laundry facilities and wifi. The larger balcony has a clear partial view of Lake Geneva. We have had a wonderful time staying in Clarens! The apartment is in an unbelievable location, right on Lac Léman. The views from the balcony are stunning. We are also a quick trip to Montreux or Vevey, ideal for restaurants and sight-seeing. Plus, Lausanne is easily reached by a regional train which departs 2x/hr from the town station.

The owner (J) was very helpful before moving in, aiding us in renting furniture and recommending some child-friendly spots in the neighborhood. J was also very proactive in answering small queries about the space. The apartment has been recently renovated, so many of the fixtures are new. The building itself is very well-maintained, in a safe and pleasant residential area (and right across from the grocery store--perfect!). We really can't recommend it highly enough!
