My husband and I spent a month in Cetona, from mid Oct to mid Nov in 2013. It was a place we were sorry to leave and hope to come back to. We loved having Silvia and Giancarlo's home as our base to explore the Tuscan area, and also spent many days just relaxing on the sunny decks. It was so beautiful to wake up to the neighbour's rooster , open the window shutters and look out over the valley and the olive farm in the distance. The home is lovely and has everything you need . They let us use the vegetables in the garden and we loved the Sat market.
We were welcomed warmly and any questions we had were answered promptly. The area is one that makes you feel like you stepped back in time, very quiet and peaceful, yet so close to Rome, Florence and Sienna. We feel like we left having made new friends! We would highly recommend their home. ( and make sure they tell you about the ancient Roman bath nearby)

My wife and I stayed in this apartment the first three weeks of September and loved every minute of it. We called it our “little piece of paradise”. The apartment is situated in the most beautiful part of Florence, which is surrounded by breathtaking views of the city on one side and the gorgeous Tuscan countryside on the other. We felt like living in the heart of the Chianti region yet we were just 10 minutes away from the congested center of Florence. We woke up at the sound of church bells and a very polite rooster and felt immediately reenergized and ready to start our day. The apartment was in immaculate conditions. From the furniture to the houseware everything was perfect and of great taste. The landlords were the icing on the cake. Silvia and Giancarlo were outstanding hosts and wonderful people. They were always available for any questions and made us feel at home from the very minute we walked in the apartment. There is no doubt in my mind that their apartment will be on the top of my list for my next visit to Florence. Enjoy your stay. You won’t regret having picked this place as your home in Florence.

Silvia has a beautiful home in the Tuscan hills with a large deck and magnificent views. It offers all amenities (including wi-fi). The house was relaxing and comfortable. Silvia was the perfect host and answered all our questions promptly. We stayed for a glorious week in September and it was such a wonderful place to unwind after the crowds in Florence.
Thank you so much to the Puliti family for sharing your lovely home with us.

I stayed in Giancarlo and Silvia's house with my family for 10 days...and I wish it could have been 10 years! Giancarlo looked after us exceptionally well when we arrived and we felt welcome and at home immediately. The house is charming and comfortable and Cetona is the perfect base from which to explore both Tuscany and Umbria. My sincere thanks go to Giancarlo and Silvia for sharing this wonderful place with us.

I rented Giancarlo and Silvia's home in Cetona for the month of April 2012 and loved every minute of my stay there. Cetona is a lovely town in a beautiful part of Tuscany, and the house and its situation are breathtaking. On one side is a magical view of the Tuscan countryside; on the other the equally enchanting town itself. The house is spacious and comfortable, the gardens beautiful, and the view amazing. I was able to work outside on the terraces during April and it was delightful. The village itself is vibrant and warm, fun and friendly, even to those whose command of Italian is terminally shaky. The walks on the surrounding hills are incredible. Cetona is within an hour or two of Rome, Florence, Siena, Orvieto, and Montepulciano, so it is ideally situated for those who wish to explore the area, though to be honest I had such a lovely time in Cetona that I forgot that I wanted to see all these places. Anyone who has an opportunity to stay in this lovely house and town is very lucky indeed.
