Set just above the Coast Highway, in an Art Village, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, you can hear the waves crashing against the shore from this sunny, remodeled and upgraded, two-story townhouse.

Walking distance from downtown Gualala, with numerous restaurants and shops, a gym, seaside trails, the medical center, post office, grocery stores, and all the amenities you may need, are just footsteps from your door.

Tastefully upgraded, this 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom townhome has two stories, a new washer and dryer, upgraded interior flooring, is newly painted, and has an updated kitchen with modern appliances. The house is also set up with an energy-saving on-demand water heater, which means your hot water never runs out!

From the kitchen, dining, living, and master bed and bathrooms, you can see the wide-open Pacific Ocean, and hear and smell the waves. You can place a telescope in the dining room and watch the whales migrate and play! Fishing boats bring fresh seafood into nearby towns and restaurants and offer some of the best meals at restaurants that are minutes from your door. There is also a weekly farmers market, where fresh produce and seafood is sold in downtown Gualala.

The kitchen is well-suited to cooking a gourmet meal, and is open to the dining and living areas, with high ceilings throughout. The upper floor has a deck with views to the mountains behind you and the Pacific Ocean in front, and the kitchen, living, dining and half bath are upstairs. The second bedroom has a Murphy bed, which can be folded up to open up space in the bedroom, and can double as an office. The Gualala stretch of Highway One is one of the most scenic in the world, and is highlighted as part of a drive Coastal Living magazine recently named the #1 coastal drive in North America. Gualala enjoys what is called a 'banana belt' microclimate, with sun and mild temperatures much of the year, and little ocean fog, in comparison to the neighboring coastal towns.

For the outdoor lovers among us, the world-renowned Sea Ranch golf course is located just ten minutes south of Gualala and is open to the public, kayaks can be rented in town, horse-back riding is available at the Sea Ranch resort, and hiking the beaches or running the Bluff Trail is just nearby.

Just south of Gualala, are the towns of Anchor Bay and Point Arena, where there are a number of activities, and the Theater runs first-run movies and regularly hosts concerts.

Gualala is a fantastic place to live and work, or just to relax, play, and take in the amazing scenery, smells, sounds, and wonderful coastal life.
