Cozy 1BR January 15 on Hudson River in Manhattan $1400

Cozy furnished 2BR nest in upper Manhattan (Washington Heights) that looks out on the Hudson River is available January 15 for (1) person to move into the big bedroom. You will share the entire apartment with me. I am a professor and self-employed creative strategist working in arts, culture and social innovation. I travel once a month usually, have a flexible schedule and am easy to live with when I'm home. I can provide you references if you would like. Your bedroom has lots of light, good storage and a great queen bed. This opportunity is perfect for an artist, student, researcher or medical professional (Columbia University and City College - where I teach - and Col-NY Presbyterian Hospital are close by). The comfortable, artsy, quiet apartment has high ceilings, a big eat-in kitchen and a relaxing living room. The apartment is in a great building with wonderful neighbors and is 2 blocks from the express A train subway - 20 minutes direct to downtown Manhattan. Delicious, fun restaurants are across the street along with everything you need - deli, dry cleaning, wine store, cobbler, groceries, pizza, etc. Riverside Little Red Lighthouse park with tennis courts, bike path and more 2 blocks one way. Gorgeous Ft Tryon Park and the Met Museum Cloisters 6 blocks the other way. Ideal to be here for spring in NYC as lovely breezes begin to blow through the apartment. Utilities included. Laundry room in basement. Elevator building. Car parking doable on street or in affordable garages on Cabrini Blvd (my street). Non-smoking. Dates negotiable. Linens provided for an additional $50 per month.
